C.L MEDISYS, led by CEO Park Jeong-Mee, is known as the “A Lecturing CEO” for her extensive industry knowledge and expertise. Ms. Park, with 25 years of experience in the cosmetics industry, previously oversaw the training of skincare professionals. Drawing on her extensive industry knowledge and expertise, she established C.L MEDISYS, emphasizing that professional-use cosmetics require specialized education.
C.L MEDISYS’ flagship product lines, “GENOCELL” and “Dr.GENO,” focus on addressing the root causes of skin concerns. GENOCELL, with its slogan “Reversing the Age of Cells,” combines cosmetics, beauty devices, and technology to effectively restore the skin barrier. Dr.GENO, centered on “age management,” is exclusively supplied to those who have completed the company’s proprietary 7-class training program.
Park believes that the key to effective skincare lies in cleansing, as environmental factors like fine dust and mask-wearing can make skin management challenging. She recommends using high-quality cleansers and focusing on hydration and barrier strengthening, especially in the current hot weather.
Regarding the reality that Korean cosmetics are often overshadowed by foreign brands in the domestic market, Park laments, “Even though good products are developed in Korea, the industry tends to focus more on the export market rather than the domestic one.” She has observed that while Europeans are eager to experience Korean cosmetics and visit Korean SPA stores, they are often surprised to find that Korean cosmetics are not as prominently featured.
Park’s dedication to educating the industry and her optimism about C.L MEDISYS’ future potential are evident in her enthusiasm, as she recently got vaccinated against COVID-19 in preparation for future lectures on Korean cosmetics’ technological prowess.
