Positive Reviews for Chungbuk Cosmetics at the World's Largest Beauty Fair in Italy!

Chungbuk cosmetics companies secured export contracts and business meetings at the ‘Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2024’, one of the world’s largest cosmetics events held in Bologna, Italy.

Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna is a global beauty and cosmetics trade fair held in Bologna, Italy. It is one of the world’s three largest beauty trade shows, along with those in Hong Kong and Las Vegas. The event covers the entire beauty industry, including cosmetics, beauty devices, and nails. It is considered a crucial gateway for entering the European beauty market.

Seven cosmetics companies from Chungbuk province participated in the 2022 Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna event. The participating companies included C.L MEDISYS (chemical peel – professional cosmetics), Dejuvent (peptide serum), and Jens International (skin booster).

The Chungbuk companies secured 316 buyer consultations worth $52.82 million (KRW 71 billion) and 147 export contracts worth $14.75 million (KRW 19.8 billion). Three companies signed $3.3 million (KRW 4.4 billion) worth of agreements, increasing the export potential of Chungbuk cosmetics in the European beauty market. C.L MEDISYS, which promotes itself as the No. 1 in medical aesthetics, signed a $1 million (KRW 1.3 billion) on-site agreement.

Chungbuk province has a total of 663 cosmetics companies, an emerging industry with high added value and employment effects. The provincial government and the Chungbuk Enterprise Promotion Agency will continue to support the participation of local cosmetics companies in overseas exhibitions to identify global trends and explore new export markets.
